|1/3||cup finely chopped onion|
|2||tablespoons butter or margarine|
|1/2||pound chicken liver|
|2||tablespoons dry sherry|
|1/2||cup butter or margarine, softened|
Saute onion in butter until tender; add chicken livers
and cook 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often. Pour livers into container of
electric blender. Add salt and sherry; process until smooth. Cool.
Combine liver mixture and softened butter;
place in a small bowl or crock, and serve with crackers.
