1/3 | cup finely chopped onion |
2 | tablespoons butter or margarine |
1/2 | pound chicken liver |
1/4 | teaspoon salt |
2 | tablespoons dry sherry |
1/2 | cup butter or margarine, softened |
Saute onion in butter until tender; add chicken livers
and cook 10
to 15 minutes, stirring often. Pour livers into container of
electric blender.
Add salt and sherry; process until smooth. Cool.
Combine liver mixture and softened butter;
place in a small bowl
or crock, and serve with crackers.
